If your phone runs Android 5.0 or higher, the solution is a bit more drastic—you’ll need to wipe and reset your phone to unlock it. Unfortunately, this means your phone’s data will be erased, so make sure you’re ready for a fresh start.
You can do this via:
- A computer or another phone using Google’s Find My Device
- Directly on your locked phone using a hard reset.
Here’s how:
Method 1: Use Google’s “Find My Device” (Requires Internet Connection)
- On your computer or another phone, go to Google’s Find My Device.
- Log into your Google account.
- Select your locked phone from the list.
- Once your phone is connected, you’ll see its battery life and Wi-Fi status.
- Select Erase to reset your phone.
Method 2: Hard Reset Your Locked Phone
