Backup Apps
  1. On the Home screen, pull down the top of the screen or look in apps
  2. Tap on the settings icon
  3. Scroll to ‘Cloud and Accounts’
  4. Tap Backup and Restore
  5. Sign in to Google account
  6. Select the prompt, activate necessary settings

Backup Contacts
  1. On the home screen, tap contacts
  2. Tap the menu icon (3 vertical dots)
  3. Press settings > contacts
  4. Choose Google >  email > sync settings you want to backup or
    Choose Samsung > email > sync settings you want to backup
  5. Tap the menu icon (3 vertical dots) > Sync now

Backup contacts to SD card
  1. On the Home screen, pull down the top of the screen
  2. Tap on the settings icon
  3. Press Apps
  4. Scroll down to contacts and press
  5. Press more settings
  6. Check all contacts are displayed by clicking contacts to view
  7. Press import/export contacts
  8. Tap Export to SD Card
  9. Tap OK to confirm export

Backup media & pictures
  1. Go into Apps
  2. Find and tap My Files
  3. Scroll to Local storage then click Device Storage or Internal Storage
  4. Tap the menu icon (3 vertical dots)
  5. Tap edit and locate the folders with desired content
  6. Tap the folders, so they have been checked
  7. Again, tap the menu icon
  8. Tap copy and then SD card or Google Drive
