Backup Apps
- On the Home screen, pull down the top of the screen or look in apps
- Tap on the settings icon
- Scroll to ‘Cloud and Accounts’
- Tap Backup and Restore
- Sign in to Google account
- Select the prompt, activate necessary settings
Backup Contacts
- On the home screen, tap contacts
- Tap the menu icon (3 vertical dots)
- Press settings > contacts
- Choose Google > email > sync settings you want to backup or
Choose Samsung > email > sync settings you want to backup - Tap the menu icon (3 vertical dots) > Sync now
Backup contacts to SD card
- On the Home screen, pull down the top of the screen
- Tap on the settings icon
- Press Apps
- Scroll down to contacts and press
- Press more settings
- Check all contacts are displayed by clicking contacts to view
- Press import/export contacts
- Tap Export to SD Card
- Tap OK to confirm export
Backup media & pictures
- Go into Apps
- Find and tap My Files
- Scroll to Local storage then click Device Storage or Internal Storage
- Tap the menu icon (3 vertical dots)
- Tap edit and locate the folders with desired content
- Tap the folders, so they have been checked
- Again, tap the menu icon
- Tap copy and then SD card or Google Drive
