Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile!

News has come today that Developer Epic Games has announced that Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile platforms as early as next week!

The mode that is confirmed to be coming to mobile platforms is there 100-player Battle Royale mode, this mode is where you have to fight to survive. The winner is the player who is last man standing or the team that is last left alive.

The game will be the exact same version as the one available now on desktop computers and games consoles, without any compromises apparently!

Epic Games have also announced that they worked exclusively with Sony to enable cross-platform multiplayer across desktop computers, Mac’s, mobile and PlayStation 4. This will mean players can come up against other players who are playing on a different platform. There is no word on whether Xbox will be involved yet.

The first invites to play the game will be available on Monday next week (only on iOS), you have to sign up to receive the invite but only a select few will be chosen, at first, before they start picking people every hour. You shouldn’t have to wait that long to receive a code. The company will email you with a special link to download the app if you are one of the lucky chosen ones. The receivers of the email will also receive codes for their friends that they can share.

Android users will have to wait a couple of months to get their hands on the game.
